The ‘WH’ wall-mounted hat and coat rails (also known as peg rails), are generally used on the walls of corridors, cloakrooms, changing rooms and locker rooms either above our Evolve mezzo and mono cloakroom benches, our Club mezzo and mono changing room bench seats or on their own.
The ‘BWH’ Classic hat and coat rails using Ash heartwood (has a more varied colour range and grain) are also available to compliment any of our 3 Classic changing room bench ranges or for situations where you need them. The ‘WH’ wall-mounted Ash hardwood hat and coat rails, also known as peg rails, are generally used on the walls of corridors and cloakrooms, either above our Evolve mezzo and mono changing room benches, our Club mezzo and mono bench seats, or on their own.
Each Ash batten is pre-drilled to ready to take our sturdy SAA (satin anodised aluminium) hat and coat hooks (powder-coated aluminium or industrial steel hook versions also available). They are available in lengths of 1m with 5 hooks, 1.5m with 7 hooks, 2m with 10 hooks, 2.5m with 12 hooks, 3m with 14 hooks, or virtually any size to suit your application on request.
To prevent damage in transit all peg rails are supplied with the hooks loose, leaving you to just screw them into the pre-drilled peg rail and fix to your wall (screws included, wall fixings are not). We can assemble them for you prior to despatch on request, but we do not recommend this as the exposed hooks can be susceptible to damage by carriers.
Hooks are at approximately 200mm centres although the same hook rails can have extra hooks fitted to provide 150mm centre spacings or less, for a small additional cost.
